What is RHA?

RHA is a tool for students to change their hall and campus environments. Whether by getting amenities funding to buy a new pool table for their hall, advertising an inter-hall program, or simply going to hang out with a dynamic crowd, any resident can enhance their on-campus experience by becoming involved in RHA. If last year is any indicator we can also faithfully say that RHA is an equal delight for all who involve themselves.

Here you will find information about RHA. You can find out information about the Committees in RHA and what they each do, as well as find out contact info for the important people in RHA.

    Committees

Since RHA is so big, and does so much, it would be impossible for them to do it without the help of other residents, that is why each residence hall on campus has two representatives that attend the weekly meetings, and act as each halls voice to the rest of campus. Each representative is required to serve on a committee.

Here is a list of the committees that members belong to.

small paw Services Committee- The Services committee handles the different services that residence halls have to offer, such as the cable channel selection, recycling programs, and amenities surveying within the residence halls. This committee makes improvements and suggestions for a better living community. Contact Nikki Herndon (herndon@life.arizona.edu) if you want to get involved.

small pawPaw Print- The Paw Print publishes a monthly newsletter to publicize, critique and inform the residents within the residence halls about all the different events and happenings around campus and town. Contact Dustin Sandell (sandell@life.arizona.edu) if you want to get involved.

small pawMedia & Memories- Media & Memories are respsonsible for taking pictures at events so that everyone can remember how much fun we had!  They are also responsible for keeping records of the events happening in RHA throughout the year and presenting a scrap book and a video at the end of the year banquet in April. Contact Kerwin Ross( ross@life.arizona.edu) if you want to get involved.

small pawProgramming Team - The Programming Team is in charge of many of the annual RHA events like Block Party, AIDS Walk, Fall Hall Ball, Hall-A-Daze, Movie on the Mall, Mock Rock, Spring Formal and many others. Contact Cynnamon Woodberry (woodberry@life.arizona.edu) if you want to get involved.

small pawConstitutional Reform Committee- The Constitutional Reform Committee is in charge of revising and updating the constitution. Contact Kerwin Ross (ross@life.arizona.edu) if you want to get involved.

small pawLeadership Committee- The Leadership Committee is in charge of planning and coordinating the many different leadership camps, lock-ins, programs, etc. in the spring for RHA and hall council members. Contact Leah Durnin (durnin@life.arizona.edu) if you want to get involved.

small pawThe Liaison Committee- The Liaison Committee is in charge of going out to the many other different organizations such as ASUA, UAB, RAC, and many others. They are the representation of RHA to other student groups on campus. Contact Dustin Sandell (sandell@life.arizona.edu) if you wish to get involved.
